Freedom Cowboys Host Lancaster Christian Academy in Early-Season Clash
HUNTSVILLE, AL — The Freedom Cowboys will look to keep their perfect record intact this Friday night when they welcome the Lancaster Christian Academy Knights to town for a non-conference showdown. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Cowboys (1-0) are coming off a strong start to their 2025 campaign, opening the season with a 28–16 road victory over the Tennessee Heat. Freedom showed balance in the win, putting up points in three different quarters, including a dominant fourth quarter where they sealed the game with 14 unanswered points. The offense averaged eight points in the first quarter, six in the second, and finished strong, while the defense held firm when it mattered most.
Lancaster Christian Academy (0-0) will be making their season debut. The Knights are looking to shake off a challenging 2024 season and start fresh. While they haven’t yet taken the field this year, their upcoming schedule is packed with competitive matchups, including contests against Tennessee Heat, Riverside Christian Academy, and South Haven Christian.
