Woodward Academy Hosts Collins Hill in Friday Night Non-Conference Clash

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — The Woodward Academy football team will take the field at home Friday night at 8 p.m. to face Collins Hill in a non-conference matchup.

Both teams enter the contest looking to bounce back from early-season losses. Collins Hill (0-1), ranked No. 67 nationally and No. 9 in Georgia, fell 51-3 in its season opener. The Eagles are led by Maddox Henderson and Atticus Joseph, who have shown flashes of production despite the team’s slow start.

Woodward Academy (0-1), ranked No. 375 nationally and No. 40 in Georgia, is also searching for its first win after a 48-21 setback. Quarterback Ryan Harrigan has been a key contributor, accounting for over 230 passing yards per game and helping anchor an offense averaging 260 total yards.

Friday night’s matchup will give both squads a chance to regroup and make a statement early in the season as they look to set the tone for the coming weeks.
