Faith Christian Set to Host Cornerstone Charter Academy in Season Opener

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Faith Christian Lions will kick off their 2025–26 varsity football season on Monday, August 18, when they host the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks in a non-conference matchup. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. in Orlando.

Both programs enter the season opener with a clean slate, as neither has played a game yet this fall. According to MaxPreps national rankings, Faith Christian sits at No. 11,390 in the country and No. 527 in Florida, while Cornerstone Charter Academy is ranked No. 12,412 nationally and No. 543 in the state.

The two schools have never faced each other on the gridiron, making this an intriguing early-season test. While their records currently stand at 0-0 across all categories, both teams will be looking to set the tone for the season and build momentum heading into future contests.

Faith Christian will later see a familiar foe in Orangewood Christian on October 24, while Cornerstone Charter Academy will face Orangewood earlier in the season on August 29. That common opponent may provide some insight into how the two teams measure up as the year progresses.
