Camden County Hosts Florida’s East Lake in Non-Conference Matchup

KINGSLAND, Ga. — Camden High School will be the site of an interstate clash Friday night as the Camden County Wildcats welcome the East Lake Eagles from Tarpon Springs, Florida. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on August 22, 2025.

Camden County (1-0) opened its season with a 44-35 victory, leaning on a balanced offensive attack. The Wildcats averaged 388 total yards in their opener, highlighted by quarterback William Jackson, who threw for 173 yards and added to the ground game with his mobility. Running back Antwan Williams was also a standout, rushing for 158 yards to power the offense. Defensively, Camden was led by Xavier Brown’s 12 tackles and Tramaine Alford’s presence on the pass rush with a sack.

East Lake (0-0) enters the contest playing its first game of the season. Ranked No. 1,972 nationally and No. 144 in Florida, the Eagles will be tested immediately against a Camden County squad currently sitting at No. 114 nationally and No. 22 in Georgia.
